
Biography.
Marianne Labriola began her film training in 2015 at the Barrow Group in New York City
and has appeared in film shorts in co-lead and supporting roles. Trained as an opera singer, Marianne performed in opera, voice overs and recitals receiving awards from the Puccini Foundation, American Opera, San Francisco Opera, Metropolitan Opera Regional Auditions and the New Jersey State Opera. She is a member of Actors Equity Association (AEA) and SAG-AFTRA eligible.
Marianne received a B.M. from the Boston Conservatory and a M.M from The University of the Arts, Philadelphia. She was a member of the Western Opera Theater/San Francisco Opera touring company that introduced western opera (La Boheme, Puccini) to China as part of the goodwill cultural exchange between the United States and China. Other interests include: cellist in the New York Symphonic Arts Ensemble from 2009-2015; and the Producer/Director of the Roosevelt Island Sunday Concert Series from 2007-2012. Marianne was a two-time awardee of the Puffin Award (2006/2007) for her outreach program entitled Open Heart/Open Voice, which collaborated with community-based non-profit venues by providing economically-disadvantaged city residents’ accessibility to the arts in their community.
